APEJES of Mfou have unveiled Cyrille Billong as their new head coach for the next five years.
The former YAFOOT FC trainer was appointed head coach of. APEJES from the upcoming campaign over a week ago.
The renowned trainer joins the club as replacement for Ndongo Emma who ended his three-year stay at the helm of the club’s technical department following his switch to Colombe of Dja earlier in the close season window.
Billong, former coach of Victoria United FC as well is expected to use his experience to fill the void created by the departure of Ndongo, who has helped APEJES to achieve top half finish in two consecutive seasons.
The new trainer will take stock of the human resource at hand before deciding which to retain and which to replace in the build up to the new campaign.
APEJES are preparing for their 11th season in the top-flight championship. The 2016 Cup of Cameroon winners have been consistent over the years despite their choice of very young players more often than not.
