APEJES of Mfou have appointed coach Cyrille Billong as their head coach for the upcoming campaign in the MTN Elite One championship.
The renown trainer joins the club on a two-year contract, as replacement for Ndongo Emma who ended his lengthy stay at the helm of the club’s technical department following his switch to Colombe of Dja.
Billong, former coach of YAFOOT and Victoria United FC is expected to use his experience to fill the void created by the departure of Ndongo, who has helped APEJES to achieve top half finish in multiple seasons.
The new trainer will take stock of the human resource at hand before deciding which to retain and which to replace in the build up to the new campaign.
APEJES are preparing for their 11th season in the top-flight championship. The 2016 Cup of Cameroon winners have been consistent over the years despite their choice of very young players most often than not.
