Claudia Dabda moves to Toulousse

Ambitious French Women’s second tier side Toulouse FC have completed the signing of talented Cameroonian midfielder/ dedender Claudia Voulania Dabda on a six-month-deal, the club announced on Friday.

The Cameroon international joins from Belarusian side BGU Dinamo Minsk where she won every domestic trophy available during an 18-month stint during which she scribed her name in the hearts of the Minsk diehards.

The switch to Toulouse was approved and registered after the club submitted all documents required for the process.

The 21-year-old who has UEFA champions League experience will be crucial for the club in the next few weeks as they battle to get out of the relegation zone in the second tier championship which they occupy the last-but-one position.

The ex Louves Minproff ans AS Diamare sweeper is expected to tighten things at the back for the side that have conceded 23 goals in 11 games.

Dabda is a full Cameroon international who counts seven caps for her country and was part of the squad at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON) in Morocco.
