Retired Cameroon international Christine Patience Manie has signed a one-year-contract extension at French third tier championship side Bourges Foot, kick442.com has learned.

The 40-year-old former African Footballer of the year nominee has committed to the club till June 2025 as they agree to continue the three-year relationship.

Manie,who won 80 caps for Cameroon joined the club last year from Yzeure and had a run in the first team.

The former Olimpia Cluj, Negrea Resita, FK Minsk, AS Nancy Lorraine, Yzeure Ailier will continue at her seventh club as a player coach while preparing to retire and join the club’s staff.

Manie, Cameroon football legend who scored the goal that sealed their place at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup and featured in the 2016 and 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations tournaments also had an amazing career playing for her country.
