For the first time in a long time the Under-20 Lions of Cameroon were spotted at the Douala International Airport without the regular team kits.

The team left the shores of Cameroon traveling to Kinshasa on Monday ahead of the UNIFFAC zonal tournament this Saturday.

Yvan Kenmoe’s boys were spotted in assorted outfits. The federation battles to get authorized kits across to Congo from the stock used for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

One All Sports which was recently picked as official kits provider for all categories of the national team seems to have not met their engagement on time, thus creating this situation.

Kick442.com understands FECAFOOT is working on provision of kits for the players and they could be fully-kitted within 48 hours of their arrival in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Cameroon who won the last edition of the competition in December 2020 are placed in group B of the event, alongside Chad and Equatorial Guinea.

The finalists of the tournament will qualify for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
