Dream Team FC of Bali Nyonga head coach Ngwa Remy Bashia has officially resigned from his position following his side’s defeat to arch-rivals Mankon United Football Club in the Northwest Regional League of FECAFOOT final.
In a resignation letter dated June 28, 2026, the coach announced his decision to step down with immediate effect, describing it as one that was “not taken lightly.” He thanked the club for the opportunity to lead the team, expressed gratitude for the experience gained during his tenure, and wished Dream Team FC continued success.
Ngwa opted not to disclose the reasons behind his resignation, stating that they remain personal.
The resignation brings to an end what was otherwise an impressive campaign. Under Ngwa Remy’s leadership, Dream Team FC enjoyed an excellent season and reached the Northwest Regional League final, where they eventually fell to a Mankon United side packed with experienced players.
Despite missing out on the regional crown, Ngwa leaves with his reputation enhanced after guiding a competitive Dream Team side throughout the campaign. His departure now leaves the club with the task of appointing a new head coach ahead of the next season.
