Multiple Algerian Champions Chabab Riadhi de Belouizdad are keeping an eye on 23-year-old Cameroon defender Che Malone Fondoh Junior currently with the Intermediate Lions at the 2022 African Nations Championship,CHAN tournament in Algeria.

According to kick442.com sources, the reigning Algerian Champions have assigned scouts to monitor performance data about the Cotonsport of Garoua sweeper during Cameroon’s games at the Oran Olympic stadium.

Che Malone who signed a new contract at Cotonsport at the start of the current season has been recommended to the club by their Cameroonian links as the club looks to add quality to Nabil Kouki’s current crop of players.

Though there hasn’t been any formal move towards getting the 2022 MTN Elite One winner but things could change once the club’s management see what they’re after.

Che who lasted the duration in Cameroon’s 1-0 win against Congo in the Group E opener last Monday has been outstanding for club and country in the past 12 months, attracting interest from multiple clubs abroad.

Cotonsport still wants the defender to stay at the Roumde Adjia for another season, but a serious offer could see it’s administration thinking twice especially as they have never lacked options.

CR Belouizdad won the Algerian top flight championship for the third season in a spin last term and are through to the group stages of the CAF Champions League this season.
