Since the start of the 2022/2023 football season, Acha Lovis Fobi and Acha Aristie Ngwa have been arguably the pillars of YOSA defensive compartment.

The Acha brothers have been instrumental for YOSA since the start of the current season.

The experience Acha Lovis Fobi joined YOSA before the start of the season from Eding Sports. He has also played for NPB, Feutcheu FC, Astres Douala, and Options Sports Limbe. In all matches that he has featured in, he has been one of the commanders at the heart of YOSA’s backline.

Just like his elder brother, Acha Aristie Ngwa who joined YOSA at the start of the season has played every minute for Yong Sports Academy since the start of the season and began his career with Tatecam FC. From there, he joined Universal Soccer Academy in the North West Regional league where he played the regional league finals before joining Foncha Street FC in the elite two championship.

Acha Aristie Ngwa is the only YOSA player to have featured in all of YOSA’s matches this season.

On the opening day of the season, Acha Aristie scored YOSA’s lone goal in their 2#1 defeat to Bamboutos

Despite some poor results recorded by YOSA this season, the pair has been impeccable in the backline.

Acha Lovis just like his junior brother Acha Aristie are versatile defenders and can play in any position in the back four.
