Dynamo de Douala climbed into the top five of the MTN Elite One standings after a commanding 4-0 victory over Aigle du Moungo on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Douala, inspired by a sensational hat-trick from Arrey Jefter Oduak.
The former Continental FA Buea and ISOHSA captain etched his name into the history books as the first player to score a hat-trick in the 2025/26 MTN Elite One season. Beyond his three goals, the former Dream Soccer Academy forward also provided an assist for Jules Armand Kooh, capping off a dominant display that secured all three points for the Bon ba Njob.
Jefter opened the scoring in the 30th minute, converting brilliantly from a corner kick. Eleven minutes later, he doubled Dynamo’s advantage with a clinical finish. Just seven minutes after completing his brace, the former U-20 Lion struck again with a stunning effort that left the Aigle goalkeeper helpless.
His remarkable afternoon was crowned in the 78th minute when he turned provider, setting up Kooh to seal the emphatic victory.
The 21-year-old midfielder has proven to be a key addition to coach Simplice Soh’s squad since joining the club. Trusted with a starting role, Jefter continues to justify the faith placed in him, with Soh having played a pivotal role in his recruitment.
After scoring on his Elite One debut in Dynamo’s 4-2 win over AS Fortuna on Matchday One, Jefter has now taken his season tally to four goals — a clear testament to his growing influence in the league.
With the Matchday Eight triumph, Dynamo move up to fourth place on the classification table with 13 points from four wins, one draw, and two defeats, with a postponed fixture against Colombe still to be played.
Dynamo will next host Gazelle FA on March 8 at the Bepanda Annex Stadium as they look to maintain their upward momentum.
