A new chapter opens for one of the most unpredictable players in Cameroonian football—a footballer whose talent is beyond doubt, but whose stability remains his greatest challenge.

Cameroonian forward Didier Lamkel Zé is on the move once again. This time, he heads to Kuwait, where he has joined Kazma SC, a top-tier club currently sitting fifth in the Kuwaiti Premier League. The deal is a six-month contract with an option to extend for an additional year.

This short-term agreement comes as little surprise. Over the past two seasons, Lamkel Zé has consistently negotiated and accepted brief stints at various clubs. His journey has taken him through Belgium, Turkey, Morocco, France, Russia, Slovakia, and China.

The 29-year-old recently departed China after a six-month spell with Qingdao Hainiu, where he delivered an impressive performance—scoring seven goals and providing two assists in 12 matches. His statistics once again confirmed his offensive effectiveness when granted regular playing time.

Lamkel Zé is known for leaving behind beautiful memories at his clubs, though often accompanied by controversy. His most notable chapters came in Belgium with Antwerp FC, Kortrijk, and Saint-Trond, where he showcased undeniable technical quality but also drew attention for his impulsive behavior.

Throughout his career, Lamkel Zé’s talent has frequently been overshadowed by off-field misconduct and short-term stays. Between 2024 and 2025 alone, he featured for six different clubs—an illustration of both his demand and instability.

This latest transfer represents yet another turning point in a career that has now seen him represent 14 professional clubs. It is a revealing figure for a footballing journey as rich as it is unstable, shaped by bold decisions and successive challenges across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Now in Kuwait, Lamkel Zé faces the familiar challenge of adaptation. The next six months will be crucial as he looks to make a strong impression and, perhaps, finally find the consistency that has long eluded him.
