Cotonsport of Garoua reveals 2024/2025 Season budget

Cotonsport of Garoua have announce it’s endorsement of a substantial 708 million FCFA budget for the upcoming 2024/2025 season.

It was revealed during the club’s general meeting, held on 27th of July at the Art conference Hall in Garoua.

The meeting, initiated by club president Mohammadou Kauo, was attended by club members and local authorities, who discussed the club’s current situation, financial report, and other critical issues. The gathering ultimately resulted in several key resolutions aimed at propelling the club towards a new era of success.

major resolutions approved during the assembly were:
• Completion of the players’ residence and development of a modern pitch at the Ngalbidje club complex in Garoua.

Restructuring of the club’s technical staff, with a focus on defining specific roles to improve the performance and efficiency of the team

The opening of an official club store to sell gadgets, providing fans with more opportunities to show their support

The acquisition of a player residence (dormitory) in Yaoundé, the capital city of Cameroon

Ferdinand Sadou, the president of Cotonsport Garoua’s executive office, expressed optimism about the club’s future; “This general meeting was an opportunity to lay the foundation for a new era for our club,”

Sadou said. “With the announced changes and the ambitious projects we have presented, we are confident in our ability to meet the challenges ahead and renew with success on the field.”

Despite facing a difficult season in the previous campaign, where the club failed to secure the Elite One championship title and was eliminated in the 32nd finals of the 2024 Cameroon Cup, Cotonsport Garoua’s leadership remains determined to turn things around and deliver success to their loyal supporters.
