- He is one of just two players to have scored a hat-trick this season, alongside Mfoumou Boris of AS Fortuna
Nchindo John Bosco scored a hat-trick to secure three points for YOSA of Bamenda and keep their title ambitions alive following a 3-2 win against Dynamo of Douala on Thursday at the Mbappe Leppe stadium.
The club skipper and lead scorer this season demonstrated his class again, putting three goals past Anye Derick on goal for Dynamo to make it six points from their opening two games.
The 22-year-old gave YOSA the lead earlier in the game before Dynamo equalized via Junior Kemadjou at the half hour mark to ensure parity at the break.
Nchindo restored the advantage just upon resumption and completed his hat trick in the 51st minute to take his tally to four goals in two playoffs games.
Though Dynamo pulled one back in the final quarter of the game, they couldn’t complete their comeback even with the reduction of YOSA to ten following the dismissal of Njibero Durell.
Nchindo has scored 11 goals and made four assists so far this season, making him the most influential player in the championship this season.
YOSA leads the title playoffs with six points from two games going into their anglophone derby clash against fellow good starters Victoria United FC this Sunday.
