MTN Elite Two: Foncha Street beat Bafmeng off the pitch on eve of derby clash

Foncha Street FC has beaten Bafmeng United off the pitch in a day one encounter of the MTN Elite Two championship. The decision comes on the eve of the North West regional derby in the elite two.

It should be noted that on matchday one of the MTN Elite Two championship, in the game between Bafmeng United and Foncha Street FC, the match failed to take place because Bafmeng United presented only 5 licenses which was not enough to play the match.

According to the decision from the homologation and disciplinary commission of the Cameroon Football Federation, Bafmeng United loses the match by a score of 0#3, and also deducted 3 points on the general classification table and to pay a fine of 500.000FCFA.

Therefore, Foncha Street FC has gained 3 points and have moved up to the third position in Pool A with 11 points while Bafmeng United are now ranked 7th with 7 points.

Both teams clash this Tuesday December 5, 2023, in matchday 8 of the elite two championship.

In another decision made public by the commission, Racing of Bafoussam lost its protest against Aigle of Moungo.
