Malawi’s senior women’s national team thrashed Seychelles 17-0 for the second game in a week during an international friendly match on Thursday.

Star player, Temwa Chawinga didn’t play the match but that didn’t change the scoreline from the first game.

Mary Chavinda was the star player as she scored five goals.

Sarah Mlimbika scored three goals for the team.

Asimenye Simwaka added two goals to the spree.

Gladys Kandodo, Chimwemwe Madise, Ruth Nyirongo, Tendai Sani, Carol Mathyola, Jessie Yosefe, and Bernadettar Nyenga converted a goal each.

Both teams did not take part in the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and are using the friendly games to raise a good team and prepare for future engagements.
