  • Another Arsenal fan has lost his life in Kampala
  • The Gunners led twice but couldn’t fetch all three points at home to a Son inspired Spurs
  • Mikel Arteta’s team remains unbeaten and fifth on the log but without one of their own

An Arsenal fan whose name we got as Lutwama has perished in Kampala, following his club’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Reports which kick442.com got from Pulse Sports have it that, the Ugandan citizen who watched the game from his room at the Chez Johnson Hotel, collapsed and died just after the final whistle went at the Emirates Stadium.

Sources say, besides his love for the Gunners, he had placed a huge bet on Mikel Arteta’s team getting the better of their eternal rivals.

Unfortunately, Spurs skipper, Son Heung Min pegged back the gunners twice to extend their unbeaten run this season to six games.

Arsenal dominated the early moments and had their noses in front midway into the first-half, through an own goal from Cristian Romero. Son equalized before the break.

Bukayo Saka restored the advantage which could have preserved the life of Lutwama, but again!! Son again levelled matters to leave the final score as 2-2.

Eyewitness took Lutwama’s slump as a prank, but were condemned to intervene when they realized he was in difficulty. He was later rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced death.

The draw is Arsenal’s second in six Premier League games this season. It leaves them in the fifth spot on the log, with 14 points, four away from Manchester City who have also offered a fair share of sad moments to their African fans over the years.

Lutwama is currently in the Mortuary in Kampala while his family proceed with burial arrangement.

It is not the first time such is happening. A number of Africans have a strange attachment towards European clubs these days and the advent of sports betting hasn’t helped their health situation as many struggle to seperate business from pleasure.
