Former Cotonsport of Garoua defender, Che Malone Fondoh Junior has avoided serious injury after crashing in a car that was returning with him from the Airport‒ with the 24-year-old footballer thankfully escaping with a few bruises.
According to a video which kick442.com stumbled on, the defender’s car crashed around Mikocheni in Dar Es Salaam, at 5AM this Sunday, September 24.
We understand Che was returning from the Airport where he had gone to pick up a visiting relation.
According to a video in our possession, Che is seen using a touch to pick the pieces of his properties, just after the incident which twisted the face of the car. The driver of the car is seriously injured.
He was also taken to the hospital with the former Continental of Buea defender, who has won as many caps for Cameroon.
Che is expected to be released from the hospital soonest, but it’s unclear if he will return to first team activities immediately.

Che, who has spent the past two seasons at Cotonsport and won everything before switching to Simba had enjoyed a good start to his time in Tanzanian football, helping his club achieve results.
The absence of Che is the last thing coach Robertino will want to hear at the moment. His primary defensive partner, Henock Inonga picked up a bad injury during their last league game this week against Coastal Union.
