The 20th edition of the Limbe international tournament has been planned between December 10th and 15th 2023 in this seaside resort city.

Organizers, EFBC confirmed the schedule last week as part of the build up to the prestigious event that has marketed some of Cameroon’s best exports in the past decade.

This 20th edition of the annual jamboree is expected to have the U-14, U-16 and U-18 categories as it has been in previous editions.

The likes of EFBC and Best Stars Academy of Limbe are represented in all three categories while the Cameroon national football Academy (ANAFOOT) will participate in at least two categories Real Foot Academy.

Close to 30 football institutions drawn from across the country are expected to participate in this year’s competition.

The competition has carved its reputation as the budding ground for the best young talents and attracted scouts from across the globe over the years.

Brighton and Hove Albion’s Carlos Baleba Noom Quomah, Aboubakar Nagida of Stade Rennes, Mughe Francois Regis of Olympique Marseille, Aboubakar Dalbai and Jean Pierre Nkamga of Dijon all projected their talents through this competition at some point in time.

Organizers, EFBC, have picked U-20 National team coach Yvan Kenmoe plus former Indomitable Lions of Cameroon duo Victor Ndip Akem and Ebwelle Bertin as members of jury in charge of picking the best players of the tournament.

The event will be launched via a technical meeting of all participants on December 9, in Limbe.
