The Isle Of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) defender Ashu Cezero has U-turned from injury, and as such, he defender is now available for the third group A game against sporting Football Club of Maroua.
Cezero formed a lovely combo alongside Kingsley Tebug in the regular season, but he has appeared in one of two games at the national Interpools.
The sweeper tweaked something in his right thigh and went down without challenge in the first quarter of ISOHSA’s game against Union Sportive D’abong Bang.
His immediately replacement, Wilson Joseph – equally picked up a knock coupled with his health conditions; making both players unavailable in the south west representatives’ draw against Volcan Football Club du Noun.
Cezero will add to the squad roster to provide depth but whether he starts Wednesday’s game or not remains at gaffer’s discretion.
Meantime, Bryan Kum and Kingsley Tebug faired well in what many termed the ‘experimental defensive pair’.
Cezero is known for his work ethic and thrust at the back. His return is a big boost for the coaching staff and teammates.
