Atlantic of Kribi and Epervier of Ebolowa will represent the South Region during the 32nd final of the 2023 Cup of Cameroon after their respective results earned the two spots reserved for the region on Friday.
Atlantic beat Olympic Biwong Bane by 2-1 in the thrilling finals to book an appointment with Northwest Elite 2 franchise Foncha Street FC while Epervier were 1-0 winners against Otongo Ada.
The win for Otongo FC books an appointment with Elite 1 side Fauve Azur Elite in the 32nd final expected to start next Wednesday.
The two amateur clubs will join OFTA of Kribi and Colombe of Dja and Lobo as the four clubs to represent the South Region in this year’s Cup of Cameroon.
OFTA and Colombe reached the round of 32 without going through the preliminaries like the other two clubs because of their status as Elite championship clubs.
OFTA have been pitted against North 1 while Colombe of Dja have an appointment with Leopard Sportif of Douala.
