The forward netted twice in the first half (14 and 35th minute), as Foncha Street took a two goals lead to the break.

AS FAP’s captain Fred Batamack had a penalty saved at the 62nd minute by goalkeeper Lloris Tenda, but FAP scored the rebound to put the scores at 2-1.

Ngong Njong completed his hat trick with a quarter of an hour left to play (75), to seal all three points for Foncha FC.

“FAP is one of the most difficult teams in the league. It was very difficult when we played them away, but in the return game, we mastered them and that’s why we came out with that result. I’m very happy,” Coach Mbabot Moses of Foncha Street FC said after the game.

Foncha Street FC now has 19 points.

Both Rangers FC and Foncha Street, will stay at home where they will host Stade FC of Bertoua and OFTA of Kribi respectively.

Rangers had played a draw with Stade FC of Bertoua in the away game, meanwhile Foncha Street FC defeated OFTA away in Kribi.
