Elite two: Aigle goes top, 10_Man Foncha Street defeats Victoria United as Rangers records consecutive wins

Foncha Street FC of Bamenda has recorded a one_nil win over Victoria United of Limbe, in one of day eight games of the Elite two championship. The game was played at the Molyko stadium in Buea.

Foncha Street FC came into the game on the back of a 1#2 defeat they suffered at home on Sunday to Aigle Royal of Mungo, just like Victoria United who suffered a one_nil defeat to Rangers FC on match day seven.

A goalless first half sanctioned proceedings at the Molyko stadium, but the visiting team went ahead at the 66th minutes through Herve Adiyi.

Adiyi later saw red as Foncha Street were reduced to 10 men. A late penalty for Victoria United was missed your Kylan Ntaka, as Opopo extend their winless run to three games.

In the other game played at the Annex of the Reunification stadium in Douala, visiting Rangers FC of Bafut defeated Dynamo of Douala 2#1. Nsoh Fabrice put Rangers in front in the first half, but Dynamo drew the game level before the hour mark. Goal poacher Kache Boris again gave Rangers the lead from the penalty spot, in what proved to be the match winner. Rangers has now won two consecutive games in the league for the first time this season.

Aigle Royal of Mungo defeated OFTA of Kribi 1#0 in Loum, to consolidate their place at the top of the league table. OFTA is yet to win a game this season.

Racing of Bafoussam suffered their first defeat of the season 0#1, to Leopard of Douala at the Bamendzi Stadium.

10 man AS FAP of Yaounde, surrendered a one goal lead, in their one_all draw against Stade FC of Bertoua at the Annex 1 of the Olembe stadium. Tonnerre Kalara club and Laussane SA, had played a zero all tie in the first game.
