Cameroon international Junior Kaaba, has announced his returned to the Cameroon league with a goal as Fauve Azur played a one all tie with YAFOOT in a match day 12 game of the Elite one championship.
Kaaba was named in the starting XI for Dieudonné Nke’s Fauve Azur on Sunday in their game at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium against fellow Center Region side YAFOOT.
It took the 23-year-old forward just 28 minutes to make an impact, when he finished pass goalkeeper Dissounga Paul to put Fauve Azur in front.
Fauve Azur took a one goal lead to the break, but YAFOOT replied at the 64th minute from the penalty spot, when Steve Belobo slotted pass goalkeeper Wislow Hecube.
The game ended one goal apiece, but Junior Kaaba announced his return in style.
Kaaba was released by Ghanaian side Accra Hearts of Oak in early January just four months after he signed for the club.
The former Colombe striker, had penned a 3_years deal with Hearts of Oak in August 2022, but unfortunately his stay in the Ghanaian capital was short lived.
He now returned to Fauve Azur where he scored 11 goals and provided four assists for Fauve Azur in the 2021_2022 Campaign.
