It was raining goals everywhere on Wednesday evening as Crested Cranes trio Ainembabazi Joanita, Favour Nambatya and Fazila Ikwaput scored for their respective sides.
In Tanzania ,lethal striker Joanita Ainembabazi grabbed her first hatrick in the Serengeti Women’s league as Ceasiaa fought back from behind to make a 3#3 stalemate with Tiger Queens.
Joanita was making return after missing out the previous league fixture against table leaders JKT.
She already scored 6 goals to her name since her move in February while Ceasiaa sit seventh on the log table.
In Rwanda ,Favour Nambatya goal was the only difference as her side Apaer edged giants Rayon Sports WFC in the first leg of the Quarter final tier of the Women’s Peace Cup.
Apaer now hold an advantage before the return leg when the two sides meet again.
In Cyprus , Fazila Ikwaput scored late in the 82nd minute in Omonia 3#0 victory over Karmiotissa Chrysomilia in the Semi-finals of the Women’s Cup.
Fazila’s side will now lock horn with League champions Apollon Ladies in the finals next week on 28th.
It’s a Uganda affair as Ikwaput meets Juliet Nalukenge who trades for Apollon Ladies.
