Cranes to test might against Leopards before Foxes meeting

The Uganda Cranes will continue preparations when they play DR Congo in an international friendly at Japoma Stadium,Douala on Wednesday evening.

The cranes Contingent , arrived in Cameroon last week on Friday ahead of their AFCON qualifier against the Desert foxes of Algeria.

Alot of commitment has been evident among the players currently in camp with the number of seniors joining them in Douala.

Micho’s side hopes to build on Congo game where they can regain vast experience from the neighbors.

They meet a side currently coached by former Cranes tactician Sebastian Desabrie.The last encounter between the two sides ended in a barren stalemate at CHAN championship in Algeria.

After Wednesday’s action ,the focus shifts to Sunday’s clash where they face Algeria in a must win situation at the same venue.

Uganda sit in the third position level on points (4) with Tanzania while Niger at the bottom on 2 points.

Algeria already secured qualification out of Group F after winning all their first 4 matches gathering maximum points.
