Clean sweep as ISOHSA bags all best Awards in SWRL

Southwest regional champions, Isle of Hope Sports Academy of Limbe(ISOHSA), produced the Best Goalkeeper (Ashu Kelvin), Best Coach (Nlend Ayme ) and Best Player (Albert Tiku) of the 2022/23 Southwest regional league.

The first time regional champions had a consistent season marked by determination, hard work as demonstrated by the individual awards.

ISOHSA only conceded eight goals this season as Goalkeeper Kelvin Ashu, kept nine clean sheets. The former Yong Sport Academy of Bamenda’s keeper, did not concede a goal during the playoffs, thus bagged home the prize.

Coach Nlend Ayme of ISOHSA was voted manager of the season after guiding his side to victory in the final encounter encounter. In all he recorded 11 wins in 16 games, 3 defeats and two draws plus 32 goals scored.

The gaffer took over at the helm of the club this football season and history will forever remember him as the first coach to take this club to the National Interpools.

ISOHSA’s midfielder Albert Tiku earned the player of the season award. He has had arguably a near-perfect season. During the playoffs, he was voted MOTMs on three occasions; the quarterfinals, semi-finals and final.

Tiku’s pace, level of energy, intelligence and his ability to break down barriers amongst others is what makes him stand out. He is indeed an outstanding player.

He received a 10,000frs cash price and a 30% voucher from sponsors , Enrich hub on all their products.

Also, for emerging Player of the Tournament, he received an additional finest smartwatch, an earbud and a complete DSTV kit with one month free subscription.

It is worth noting that, coach Nlend, Kelvin and Tiku, are new comers at ISOHSA. This is their first season at the club and their names now goes down the annals of history.

ISOHSA will for the very first time, represent the Southwest region at the National Interpools from July 15, after a 1-0 win over Kumba City FC in the final of the league this Sunday, July 9.

The boys of coach Nlend will play the opening match against East regional champions.
