Former Cameroon international and 2017 AFCON player of the tournament, Christian Bassogog has joined Turkish side Ankaragücü.
The 28-year-old winger signed a one and a half year contract with the Turkish side, after his departure from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
The versatile and flying winger Known for his ability to go pass players while be hoping to make an impact with Ankaragücü.
Bassogog’s versatility and playing style gives Ankaragücü’s many offensive options as he is adept at playing both on the right wing and as a forward.
Christian Bassogog made 44 appearances for Cameroon scoring 7 goals and also takes his International experience to his new club.
Before joining the Turkish club, Bassogog won the Chinese FA Cup with Shanghai Shenhua in November.
Born in Douala, Cameroon, the former Henan Jianye player was crowned Best Player at AFCON 2017 where he helped Cameroon to win the trophy.
Ankaragücü becomes Bassogog’s sixth club since he began his career with Rainbow FC.
