CHAN 2022 preps: Cameroon, Uganda & Sudan get warm up games

As part of their preparations for the 2022 African Nations championship, CHAN to happen next year in Algeria, the national teams of Cameroon, Sudan and Uganda will clash in Tunisia.

According to kick442.com sources, the Sudanese national side will open camp in Monastir in Tunisia from December 31 and play two warm up games during their time there.

Three days after their arrival – that’s on January 3, Sudan will face the Uganda Cranes expected in Sousse on January 1st while Cameroon arrives a day after.

The Sudanese side will face 2021 semi-finalist Cameroon in the second warm up game on January 9, four days after Cameroon face Sudan.

Therefore, the mini tournament organized Murum Divine of Africa Sports Management will be the major preparations aid for the countries involved as they look to be apt for the Algeria local football showdown.

Both matches will be played in Monastir and as it stands behind closed doors.

2011 vice champions, Sudan will reach a third participation when the tournament gets underway while Uganda who will be in their sixth event and hoping to finally qualify from the group.

Cameroon who jet out this week are bracing for Niger and Congo Republic in group E.
