CHAN 2022: Cameroon’s opponents face double winners in crucial warm up

Camping at home in Kinshasa, DR Congo’s intermediate Leopards will face their neighbors Congo Republic in a pre-CHAN 2022 warm up game on December 30th at the Stade Martyrs in Kinshasa.

According to reports, Cameroon’s opponents Congo Republic who are currently in camp will test their strength with Otis Ngoma’s DR Congo from 3PM time to evaluate their readiness for the tournament.

After the game, two times winners of the CHAN DR Congo will travel to Tunis to continue preparations and take the tempo of North, before moving to Algeria for the real business from the second week of January.

Both Congos have been regulars in the CHAN and made the most of their appearance in the competition.

DR Congo have been to all but one of the previous editions of the competition while Congo Republic will make their fifth appearance in Algeria. The former reached the last eight last time in Cameroon while the latter failed to make it out from the group stages.

Congo Republic will face Cameroon and Niger in group E during the competition while DR Congo are up against Cote D’Ivoire, Senegal and Uganda.
