Ahead of their matchday three clash with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on March 24, the Brave Warriors of Namibia will arrive in Cameroon on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
Coach Benjamin Collin who had called up 40 players to prepare for the doubleheader against Cameroon will travel to Yaounde with 25 players.
Namibia will therefore arrive in Yaounde, Cameroon on Thursday, March 23, where they are expected to have a reconnaissance session and a pre-match Press Conference at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium.
Captain Peter Shalulile will lead the squad to Cameroon without the likes of Petrus Shitembi, Wangu Gome, Lubeni Haukongo, Aprocious Petrus, and in-form winger Willy Stephanus.
Kick-off time is scheduled for Friday evening at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium at 8:30 pm Cameroon time.
The Brave Warriors of Namibia are currently third in Group C with a point from one match played. The team will be hoping to go top of the group should they be able to pull a shock in Yaounde
The return leg will take place four days after; Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
