FIFA certified assistant Referee Tsafack Laure Marcelle has been voted best assistant Referee in Cameroon for the 2023 football season.
Madam Tsafack scooped the award this Saturday evening at the Palais de Congres as the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) assembled it’s actors to crown their efforts over the course of the period under consideration.
The talented match official picked her award from the hands of former Indomitable Lionesses manager Enow Ngachu before thanking a number of persons for helping her reach this height.
Tsafack, one of the best assistant Referee across the country is highly-rated among her peers in central Africa. She was part of the match officials retained for the 2023 UNIFFAC women’s CAF Champions League preliminaries that happened earlier this year in Equatorial Guinea.
Tsafack became a FIFA referee two years ago and is expected to retain her status for the coming year.
In the men’s category, fellow FIFA certified referee Menye Mpele, part of the CAF officials for the 2022 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) and played the final of the 2023 national interpools.
In a related development, Aline Guimbang A Etong who officiated the 2022 Cup of Cameroon final and the 2023 CAF Champions won the best female Referee award while Bito Jeanot Frank – another FIFA Referee was named winner in the male category.
