FC Ebolowa have been crowned Champions of Cameroon’s women’s top-flight championship following their 4-0 triumph against relegated AS Fortuna Ladies on Saturday at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium.
Kameni Alice Flora scored all four goals to take her season tally to 26 goals as the South Region side finished the scintillating season in style, securing their first-ever domestic title.
The amazing performance from Kameni earned her a fourth Woman of Guinnessico prize, marking an to a dream debut season at FC Ebolowa for the former Loves Minprof forward.
FC Ebolowa, the club promoted three years ago finished the season with 56 points, same as outgoing champions Lekie Filles who were also comfortable winners against the other relegated side Eding Filles, but didn’t retain their title because of a superior technical advantage for FC Ebolowa who beat them earlier in the season.
