UMS of Loum forward Joseph Julien Momaso has been voted Cameroon National Football Syndicate (SYNAFOC) player of the month of February 2023 in MTN Elite One Championship following his commanding returns for the title contenders.

The took place at the SYNAFOC headquarters in Yassa on Wednesday under the supervision of Brenda Alaka who is part of the organising committee.

Momaso scored and provided three assists to help his club achieve three victories in five games which keeps them on course for one of the two title playoff places in Pool A.

Momaso outshined Arthur Avom, Emmanuel Mahop, Rene Ndi, Yougouda Kada and Leonel Ntebeu to scoop the award which Andre Ulrich Zanga won in January.

The forward received the award during a ceremony organized in Douala during which other athletes for the Elite Two championship and the Guinness Super League received their prizes.

Ngah Manga Marie Giselle backs the Guinness Super League player of the month. The outgoing Lekie Filles forward inherits the crown from Tim Shalom Makoma Ngam who won the maiden award in January.

Franck Ateba Helanga of AS Lausanne of Yaounde wins the award in Elite 2. His four clean sheets in the month propelled his club to the second spot on the log.

Momaso backs home 100000 FCFA while the other two winners walks away with 50 000FCFA each.
