Agbor Ernest Ako, the head coach of Cotonsport of Garoua has set a new target for his team ahead of Saturday’s formality CAF Champions League game away to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Coton are out of the group but will play for pride against the Masandawa’s on Saturday night in Match Day six of this season’s competition.
Ahead of the game, coach Agbor has revealed he is expecting his team to be better.
“We don’t have pressure. We are already out of the competition. So we have told the players to relax and enjoy themselves as there’s no pressure.”
“We were out of the CAF Champions League for some years but participated in the secondary competition. What we have accepted is that this competition is way tougher. We are here to learn lessons for the future. That’s our main objective now,” said coach Agbor.
“We will play a team that is hungry. Young boys that are willing to run to try and get a result.”
Cotonsport suffered a 3-1 defeat in the reversed fixture but Che Malone and co will hope to get something from this Saturday’s fixture to end their club’s 11 games losing streak in the group stage of the CAF primary interclub competition.
