South West flag bearers at this year’s National Interpools, Buea United, have been tightening all loose ends ahead of the start of the sporting festival in Yaounde.

The club’s management led by Kadji Varlery is not leaving any stone unturned as they mobilize human and financial resources in preparation for the start of the tournament.

After making several calls to the population of the South West Region to rally behind the club’s exploits, the team moves for a fundraiser to mobilize financial resources, much needed to keep the club afloat before, during, and after the Interpools.
The fundraising that is expected to grace the presence of top brass of the region is scheduled to be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, in the conference room of the ETA Palace Hotel.

The club’s management is counting on the presence of all and sundry to build a solid foundation to propel the club to its ambitious heights.

Meanwhile, the National Interpools is scheduled to hold from August 1, 2024 to August 15, 2024 at the CAF excellence Centre in Mbankomo and the Fecafoot technical centre in Odza, all in Yaounde.

Buea United is placed in Pool B at the national interpools, with their first encounter to be played against the representative from the North Region.

Previous representatives of the South West Region, ISOHSA, and Victoria United, performed brilliantly at the Interpools and were propelled to superior leagues. Preceding their participation, ISOHSA had raised the whooping sum of 13.1 Million for the Interpools, while Victoria did raise 28.2 million FCFA.
