High-flying FC Ebolowa recorded a 1-0 win against outgoing Guinness Super League champions AS Awa in their match day 21 fixture this Sunday at the Olembe Annex stadium.

An early strike from Brunelle Ornella Beulou was all it took for coach Oudou Kpoumie’s ladies to register another three points and a clean sheet in their push to finish the season in the top three positions.

Beulou scored after 18 minutes of kick-off but Nguiadem Annecy and co did enough to prevent Awa from recovering as the visitors registered their 14th clean sheet of the season.

The win is the club’s 11th in 20 games as they edge towards the record breaking season in which they have only suffered four defeats.

FC Ebolowa remain third on the log with 41 points, six points behind second seeded Éclair of Sa’a who also won in the late fixture this Sunday.

FC Ebolowa will face Eding Sport in the last game of the season while Awa face Ngadeu in a midweek delay encounter before rounding the season against Louves Minproff.
