Blaise Djounang , the Secretary General of the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) has announced the institution’s decision to suspend former Executive Committee member, Guibai Gatama, from all football related activities for a period of two years from the date of announcement.

The decision announced this Monday, September 11, will enter application immediately per the announcement made during the ongoing Executive Committee meeting in Garoua.

According to SportsVibes.net, the Secretary General of the national office had ceased the Regional federation to inform them of the need to suspend Gilbai because his club, FC Lokola, was declared general forfeiture some weeks back by the homologation and disciplinary committee of the North Regional League.

The adjustment of the homologation decision means Gatama, who only had his initial suspension from the FECAFOOT executive committee upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sports last month will return to the cold.

Gatama is one of the multiple executive committee members that have not turned up for the ongoing Executive Committee meeting at Shalom Hotel in Garoua.

The members of the Ex-Com are expected to approve a number of cutthroat decisions this Monday.
