The Bepanda Omnisport Annex stadium is already vibrating to the rhythm of this year’s UNIFFAC U20 women’s zonal tourney set to kick-off this Tuesday, February 13th.
The Annex of the new-look Reunification stadium, built in 1970, has hosted a queue of top games including last season’s Cup of Cameroon semi-finals, and training sessions of the 2020 African Nations Championship, amongst others.
The terrain made up of two thousand seats is in fine condition with: Congo, CAR and Cameroon, ready to battle for the crown.
“Stade Reunification Annexe” as it is called by french football junkies, hosted the AFCON training sessions.
In fact, at the AFCON 2021 hosted by Cameroon, the patch was frequently used by referees to test real match situations.
The Central African Football Federations’ Union (UNIFFAC) under the guidance of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), are willing to put the best pitches to use in competitions, so as to improve the game’s growth.
