Benoît Ze has been elected to the post, of President of the Cameroon Tennis Federation, at the end of the elective general assembly that took place on Friday, December 30,2022 at the Yaounde La Falaise Hotel.
Ze Ossone Mane dominated his immediate rival, Hakapoka Tchidjio Herman by 51 against 41.
It is worth noting that, Benoit Ze has succeeded from Jean Marie Abouna, who resigned from his position of President, at the helm of the Cameroon Tennis Federation for more than eight years ago.
The newly elected Fecatennis boss, with the help of his team intends to popularize and promote the practice of Tennis throughout the national territory in Cameroon.
Reacting after his victory, the newly elected President had the following;
“It is a great satisfaction to be elected president of this federation. It is not something new for me, reason being that l had been playing this role for several years.”
” For now, we are expecting the ITF(International Tennis Federation), to forward the new plan of action, for us to follow. As for home, we have already elaborated a well structured program to be executed,” He added.
It is in a dynamic spirit that the current president of the Tennis club of Yaoundé, Benoit ZE wants to continue in the mission which has been assigned to him, for more than 4 years.The green ball expert,has a vast site and plans for the development of the discipline.
“We have brought a Belgian expert, who will do a nation wide training of our coaches. And emphasis will be lied on the regional league and the cup of Cameroon.”
“I hereby call on all my opponents to join me, so as one we may find an appropriate means to give the practice of tennis in Cameroon, a better image. We have to be fair play in all we do,” Benoit Ossone concluded.
The new President will be accompanied for the next two years, by the following persons;
