Cameroon Elite One championship side Fovu of Baham have completed the signing of 24-year-old Cameroonian forward Franck Emmanuel Beken from rivals Fovu of Baham.

The one-year-deal facilitated by the player representative Serge Christian was signed this October 16 at the club’s headquarters in Bafoussam and the player unveiled after completion of formalities.

He could reunite with coach Guy Bertin Djiepnang which we understand is also linked to the Yongwa Boys.

Beken leaves Fortuna after three successful seasons in which he scored 26 goals in all competitions, helping the club to two top of the table finishes.

The lethal finisher is expected to add finesse to the Fovu frontline whose goal scoring in the previous campaign was questionable.

The former youth international for Cameroon have to hit the ground running, while hoping it inspires the 2000 league winners to glory and open intermediate Lions doors for him or even more, barely weeks before the start of the World Cup in Qatar and the African Nations championship, CHAN in Algeria.
