Bafmeng United to replicate MatchDay one scenario?

MTN Elite Two newbies Bafmeng United may fail to play their MatchDay Two encounter in Yaounde against FC Yaounde II (YAFOOT).

Kick442.com has gathered from reliable sources that the North West based club at the time of this report have only 12 valid licenses and almost half of that number is injured making them unable to play.

The team was present on the first day of play in Bamenda when they were programmed to play against Foncha Street FC but the match didn’t take place as planned.

This Pan African Sports portal has also been informed that the licensing documents of players only got to the Commission in charge of validating players contracts on the eve of MatchDay one, making it difficult for the team to get licenses.

Also, the teams inability to maintain Soh Simplis as their head coach accounts for this failure as it was too sudden for Coach Nkabyo Martin to acclimatize himself with the situation.

If things are not done as fast as possible, then Bafmeng United will not be able to play their MatchDay two fixture in Yaounde on Wednesday November 1, 2023.

Coach Nkabyo Martin was visibly frustrated after the failed MatchDay one fixture.

At the time of this report, the licenses situation of the team remained same as on the first day of play. However, we learnt the club officials are doing everything possible to remedy the situation.

Should the team fail to play again on Wednesday, then they will be heading for general forfeiture.

Nonetheless, the issue of licenses recently has been a problem especially with amateur clubs.
