Enterprising Cameroonian football writer Angu Lesley Ngwa Akonwi, has been named in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) squad of content creators for the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament to start next month in Algeria.

kick442.com stumbled on a list of over 300 persons assembled from across the continent to serve the body in January -February one of which is the CEO of Pan African Sports News portal.

The list personnel first seen on the ‘Soccer Africa’ platform has an assembly of over 47 nationals from the continent in aspects of media, refereeing, security, protocol, marketing among others.

CAF content creators are usually expected to run interviews, do reports and contribute web and digital content for the institution during their time of work.

The 2022 CHAN tournament starts on January 13 to run to February 5 across the cities of Algiers, Annaba, Oran and Constantine.

It’s unclear when Angu travels to Algeria, but most CAF staff for the tournament are expected in the North African nation in the first week of February 2023.

The latest development credits the young media entrepreneur’s status as one of the very professional resource in the business in the recent past.

Last year, Angu served as CAF Media Officer at the Africa Cup of Nations and the CAF Confederation Cup.

The latest assignment surely indicates the feedback from previous tasks from CAF and related institutions.

He also worked for FIFA as Participating Member Announcer (PMA) during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Angu has also worked as Communications Director of LineMark Global Africa among other institutions.
