Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana Onana says he is happy at Inter and the club will decide whether he leaves or not this summer amidst interest from multiple European clubs on the heels of a brilliant season.
Onana switched to Inter on a four-year-deal last summer, but his exploits between the sticks in his first season helped Inter to Italian Cup triumph and a runners-up position in the prestigious UEFA Champions League.
Despite having three years in his current contract, Premier League sides Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham have been rumored as clubs interested in luring him away from Milan.
Reacting to questions about his future after another stellar performance in the final of the UEFA Champions League Onana declared himself available for Inter.
“I’m so, so happy at Inter. At this professional level you never know what happens.”
“I’m available for Inter, they decide and I will accept what they want. I’m happy at Inter,” Onana said.
Despite Inter’s loss to Manchester City, Onana proved how exceptional he is. From his line-breaking passes, helping Inter build from the back and his leadership, he showed what a top goalkeeper he is and why clubs are after him.
Inter have reportedly placed a €40 Millions asking price on the former Ajax Amsterdam and Barcelona B goalkeeper.
Onana’s decision to leave or stay at Inter will be influenced by the club’s plans in the business side of it and ambition next season.
