After 26 years in lower divisions, Aigle Royal du Moungo is back in Cameroon’s top flight in the most beautiful way.

This success was built on the foundation laid in 2022 when they qualified for Elite Two after a nail-biting penalty shootout against Victoria United.

Key to this success has been the return of Coach Jenny Ngeugome. The Ex Union sportive of Douala gaffer returned to this side at the start of the playoff up.

The club is not a no name in the history of Cameroonian football. Founded in 1932, the raptor has its name engraved on marble. Champion of Cameroon in 1971 and 1994, Aigle struggled during the 90s. The team has however made a triumphant return to the higher echelons of the sport.
