A 10-30 loss to host Madagascar on Wednesday disqualifies team Cameroon from the Rugby Africa women’s cup thereby marring their chances of taking part in the women’s international rugby union competition, WXV 2.

Beautiful combination from Madagascar’s two starting props, Mamisoa Rasoarimalala and Miora Rabarivelo accounted for the homeside’s 15-10 lead at half time.

Mimosette Mouto and teammates had showed some improvement in this game, putting up a strong fight in the first 40 minutes Infront of a crowded Makis stadium.

When Mamisoa Rasoarimalala had hit the first try just 30 seconds in,winger Valdez Moudangwedi masterminded a successful comeback for the lionesses .

Their tempo however dropped following the two yellow cards issued to Marie Paule Ngasssa and then captain Mimosette Mouto. An advantage properly exploited by The Makis women in the second part of the game.

From zero points against a physical springbok women of South Africa, to a ten against Madagascar, one can only hope the win will finally come against Kenya in the last day.
