Uganda Cranes national head Coach ,Milutin Sredojevic Micho has summoned a 30 man provisional squad for the forthcoming double header against neighbors Tanzania.
Asante Kotoko forward Steven Mukwala has been called up. Mukwala has been impressive in Ghana, finding back of the net 8 times and 5 assists to his name.
In the same squad ,young Africans midfielder Khalid Aucho is part and goal keeper Jamal Salim makes return to the national team.
The team consists of players who took part at the recent 2022 CHAN championship in Algeria and professionals from the diaspora.
Four youngsters Rogers Torach ,Travis Mutyaba, Isma Mugulusi and Rogers Mugisha fresh from the AFCON U-20 have been named in Micho’s side.
The team is expected to enter the residential camp on 15th March at Cranes Paradise Hostel in Kisasi.
Uganda will host away from home in Egypt at Suez Canal Stadium on 27th March ,before travelling to Dar Es Salaam four days later.
