Experienced tactician Ngwa Remy has been unveiled as the new head coach of North West Regional Super League champions Mankon United FC ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Remy was officially unveiled today after signing a one-year contract with the Bamenda-based club, who are preparing for another campaign with promotion to the Elite Two as their major objective.
The experienced coach arrives after guiding Dream Team FC to a runners-up finish in the North West Regional League last season, with Mankon United eventually crowned champions. He previously worked with Rainbow FC and Hilltop Strikers.
Remy has built a reputation as a serial winner wherever he has worked, and Mankon United will be hoping his experience and winning mentality can help the club achieve its promotion objective.
Mankon United narrowly missed out on promotion last season despite winning the North West Regional League title, falling at the semi-final stage of the Interpools.
Remy replaces coach Hamlet, who has returned to Bafmeng United FA after leading Mankon United to the regional championship.
His arrival gives Mankon United a new technical direction as the club looks to turn regional success into promotion to Cameroon’s second tier.
