Cameroonian forward Corines Che Boden has completed a move to newly promoted Egyptian Premier League club Asyut Petroleum, joining from La Viena FC on a long-term loan deal with an option to buy.

The 23-year-old has already linked up with Asyut Petroleum and is currently involved in the club’s pre-season preparations ahead of the new Egyptian Premier League campaign.

Che earned the move after an impressive spell in Egypt’s second tier with La Viena during the 2024/25 season. The former Astre of Douala striker contributed five goals and nine assists, finishing the campaign with 14 direct goal contributions.

Although his performances helped La Viena mount a promotion challenge, the club narrowly missed out on securing a place in the Egyptian top flight.

Interestingly, Asyut Petroleum’s interest in Che dates back to April 2026. The Cameroonian forward scored the decisive goal in the 65th minute when La Viena defeated Asyut Petroleum, a performance that appears to have strengthened the newly promoted side’s interest in him.

Che now gets the opportunity to showcase his qualities at the highest level of Egyptian football. With Asyut Petroleum preparing for their first season back in the Premier League, the Cameroonian is expected to play an important role as the club seeks to establish itself among Egypt’s top-flight teams.

The move is another significant step in the career of the 23-year-old, who began his journey with Best Stars Academy Official in Cameroon before making the switch to professional football in Egypt.

With his ability to score and create goals, Che will hope to make a strong impression in the Egyptian Premier League and potentially turn his loan move into a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
