Cremonese’s 2-0 win over Lecce this afternoon in Serie A brought encouraging signs for Cameroon striker Faris Moumbagna, even if he did not make it onto the pitch.

Recently recovered from injury, the forward was finally back in the matchday squad — a welcome return after several weeks on the sidelines. But despite being available, Moumbagna spent the entire match on the bench, as Cremonese opted to ease him in carefully.
