The U-17 Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon dispatched Éclair of Sa’a by recording a comfortable 2-0 win this Monday evening in their second and last friendly game to prepare for this Saturday’s meeting of their Ethiopian counterparts.

A quick fire brace from Tiwa Lys Fraiche Melong was enough for coach Joseph Brian Ndoko’s team to conclude their friendlies for the coming tie.

Tiwa scored twice in the 19 and 22nd minutes of the game to ensure the team gets a win and bury the thoughts of a draw to Lekie Filles last week.

Though Eclair showed glimpses of their brilliance during the game, Tiwa did the job on them before ceding her place to Kiki Meva late in the second segment.

The game finished 2-0 in favour of Cameroon who improved from the 2-2 draw last time out.

The team will now focus their attention on completing preparations for the clash against Ethiopia U-17 on March 8 at the Olembe Omnisport stadium.

The reversed fixture is scheduled for a few days later in Addis Abeba.
