Coach Tahir Zakaria of Chad Premier League champions AS PSI is upbeat ahead of his side’s encounter against ISOHSA this Tuesday, November 21.
Having camped in Cameroon for over a week, coach Tahir has found true sparring partners in ISOHSA, as both teams ready to play a game tagged:” Finale du tournoi de la Paix.”
Quizzed on the climatic condition and the team’s stay so far in Limbe, the gaffer aired:
“We arrived well and the team was well received”.
Tahir however reiterated the fact that the game is not a must win for his side.
“The result will not matter, but it shall be an interesting game.
“As the name of the initiative suggests: (finale de la paix), we count more on spectacle and fair play. We gave our confidence to Africa Sports management to arrange us games, because we are not very familiar with teams here in Cameroon,” Tahir Zakaria ended.
AS PSI will use the friendly as a perfect dress rehearsal ahead of the Chad premier league.
AS PSI are holders of the Chad premier league and have the uphill task of keeping the championship away from top contenders like: AS Coton, 2022 winners Elec Sport, and Fullah Edifice.
ISOHSA are in full throttle ahead of Tuesday’s game, which will be a good test ahead of an official Elite Two game against AS FAP on Saturday.
